A familiar address. A piece of Italy.

The Quellenhof stays what it always was, a place to meet. But the kitchen is writing a new chapter.

Arrive as a guest, leave as a regular.

The terrace on its decking, tables laid on a bright day

The Quellenhof has stood in Gossau for generations. The house is what it always was, and the kitchen is writing a new chapter.

Everything in the room is arranged around one thing: the person at the table.

Italian at heart, made by hand.

A laid table in front of the dining room's wine wall

We work with ingredients from Italy and with whatever the growers nearby have, and we take only what the season is ready to give.

Italian cooking the way it is done at home, with the care of a restaurant.

Quellenhof

takes care of the whole evening, so you can stay with your guests.

Two glasses of champagne on the copper bar top
  • Menu planned with you in advance
  • Ingredients from Italy and from the region
  • Pasta and pizza made fresh
  • Quiet, attentive service at the table
  • An Italian wine poured with every course
Glasses on a laid table, the stacked firewood behind them

You take your seat, we do the rest. The kitchen becomes a quiet spectacle, precise, unhurried, almost choreographed.

Weekly menu
Eating the Italian way means sharing. Antipasti in the middle, pasta and pizza from the oven, a dolce at the end, and an evening that runs longer than planned.
The Quellenhof, Gossau

The room changes after dark.

Wood, linen and a little gold, with the smell of the kitchen and the oven behind it. The room is made of very few things, and not one of them asks to be looked at.

In the evening it goes over to candlelight and quiet music, the glasses are filled again, and that is all it takes for the day outside to stop mattering.
